Katie focuses on originating, executing and supporting investments across business services and technology-enabled services sectors with special interests in health tech and professional services

She works closely with management teams to drive growth through strategy, operational improvement and has been involved in extensive M&A programmes across a number of portfolio businesses. As part of her role, Katie holds current board positions at Higgs LLP and OneTouch. She was one of August’s lead investors in both AAB and Agilio Software exits which delivered a blended c.7x return.

Katie’s experience spans new deal transactions, portfolio governance and exit preparation, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how investors and management teams can work together to achieve sustainable growth and strong outcomes. She joined August eight years ago from Barclays where she started her career as an Investment Banking Analyst.
